Can we meet up before I make a decision?

Absolutely! Firstly if you feel that Strut your Pup might be a good match for you and your doggo then please get in touch and send me a message, I would love to hear from you! We can then initially discuss what it is that you require and how my services may assist you.

If you wish to go ahead the next step will be to arrange a no obligation meet & greet. It's a good opportunity for you, me and your dog to spend some time together to get to know each other, discuss the finer details, for you to check over my papers (DBS, insurance etc) and see if it feels like a good match for us all!

Finally, if it's decided that my service is the right one for your doggo, then that's great! I will ask you to fill in an introduction form and book your dog in for a (charged) trial walk.

Do you walk dogs off-lead?

If you wish for me to walk your dog off-lead I am happy to do this if they have a good recall and you have signed an off-lead consent form.

Please note, I can only allow your dog off lead in my care, if I feel confident that your dog will return to me when called, their safety is my priority.

How will you be transporting my dog?

Your dog will be transported in my car to their walking location. Which is fully air-conditioned ready for the warmer months. I carry up to 4 dogs maximum and my catchment area is very local, so my journey times will always be kept relatively short but please keep in mind that particular dogs on the day, weather or road works etc may have an impact on timings.

Within my car there are dog seat belts in place to secure your pets comfortably. In the boot there is a Travall UK dog guard and divider fitted, which is made to high specifications and custom made to my exact make and model of vehicle for optimum safety, a non slip mat is also fitted to make the journey as safe as possible. I always carry within my vehicle fresh water and a dog first aid kit.

Do I have to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?

Not at all, clients will normally give me a key to retain so I can carry out my pop-in services or to gain access to their dogs for their walks. All Keys are labelled with only your dogs name for security.

I am happy to send you a photo of your dog via whatsapp during their walk or pop-in so you can have peace of mind that they are well and getting the care and exercise they need.

What are your opening times?

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4pm.

All walks will be given within these times.

Do you do dog boarding or overnight pet sitting?

Strut your Pup does not currently offer any boarding or overnight pet sitting.

Only dog walks and 30 minute pop-ins.
